Nepal National women’s team forward Sabitra Bhandari will be out of the field for nearly a year after suffering a serious knee injury. On Monday(2021-02-15), Sabitra was injured in a match against the Nepal Police Club. After MRI at the B&B, her report stated that her right knee was injured.
In the ongoing National Women’s League 2021, she injured her right knee while jumping in a match with the Nepal Police Club. Her MRI report showed a torn ACL. She was injured while getting the ball with the police’s goalkeeper in a match with the police. Bhandari was injured in the 69th minute of the game. After receiving treatment in the field for about 10 minutes, she was taken out of the field on a stretcher.
In this regard, the decision will be made after consulting its injury experts. In the ongoing women’s league, Sabitra has 43 goals in 10 games. Now, injured Sabitra Bhandari will be out of the field for almost a year.
