Nepal Women’s Football Team Reaches New Heights with FIFA Ranking Improvement

In a remarkable achievement, Nepal women’s football team has climbed to 98th place in the FIFA world rankings, an improvement from their previous position at 100. This rise comes despite the team not having played any matches since the WAFF Championship in February 2024. The team is now gearing up for the upcoming SAFF Championship 2024 and is also planning to participate in friendly matches and a potential four-nations cup.

The squad, currently trimmed down to 25 players, is in intensive closed camp training at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. The team’s preparation is focused on building on their recent successes and enhancing their performance for future competitions.
