Kathmandu, Nepal – Head coach Rajendra Tamang has announced a 40-player preliminary squad for the SAFF Women’s Championship 2024, set to be held in Nepal from October 17-30. The prestigious regional tournament will see the best of South Asian women’s football competing for the title, with Nepal keen on taking advantage of their home ground.
The squad features a blend of experienced campaigners and rising talents, all vying for a place in the final team. Notable names include Sabitra Bhandari, a key striker for the national team, and midfield dynamo Preeti Rai.
