Nepal Withdraws from Cedars Women’s Tournament Due to Security Concerns

Kathmandu, Nepal – The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced the withdrawal of the national women’s team from the upcoming Cedars Women’s International Football Tournament in Beirut, Lebanon. The tournament was scheduled to take place from July 8th to 16th, 2024.

In a statement released on their social media platforms, ANFA cited security concerns for their players and officials as the primary reason for the withdrawal. The decision comes amidst recent developments in Lebanon, which may pose a risk to the team’s well-being.
