For the AFC Challenge League 2024, Church Boys United will play the preliminary round on August 13 against Butani Club Paro United.
The church boys as league champions will play this qualification and if they win against Paro United they will reach the main tournament which is the AFC Challenge League.
For this league, Church Boys United have signed winger Ayush Ghalan, defender Sanish Shrestha and midfielder Laken Limbu.
Apart from that, they already have Anjan Bista, Ananta Tamang and goalkeeper Deep Karki, which strengthens the team. Arik Bista, who recently played in the I-League with Shillong Lajong F.C., will also play for the club.
Following their victory against Paro FC, Ananta Tamang will lead the team as captain in their quest for AFC Challenge League glory. If they advance to the final round, it will be a two-leg battle: a home game on October 26 followed by an away game on November 2.
