Tribhuwan Army FC Falls to FC Goa 2-1 in Durand Cup 2024 Thriller

In a gripping Durand Cup 2024 group stage match held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Thursday, Tribhuwan Army FC put up a spirited performance against FC Goa, ultimately going down 2-1 in a closely fought contest. Despite the loss, the Nepali side showcased their resilience and determination, making their mark on the prestigious tournament.

The match started with a bang as FC Goa’s Lalthangliana scored in the very first minute, putting the Young Gaurs ahead early. Undeterred, Tribhuwan Army FC held their ground and worked tirelessly to contain FC Goa’s attacks throughout the first half.
