Punjab FC sign Manish Timsina as goalkeeping coach

Punjab FC has announced that Manish Timsina will be their new goalkeeping coach for the upcoming Indian Super League season.

Manish Timsina is a qualified coach with licenses from AFC/FAM and ANFA. He is currently the goalkeeping coach for the Nepal national team and previously worked with Gokulam Kerala in the I-League during the 2023-24 season.

At 36 years old, Timsina brings valuable experience from coaching in Nepal, India, and Malaysia. He started his coaching career as the head coach of Morang DFA in 2018 and later became the goalkeeping coach for the Nepal U-15 team. In 2021, he helped Gokulam Kerala win the I-League title.

Timsina expressed his excitement about joining Punjab FC, saying, “I am thrilled to begin this new journey with Punjab FC. The team has great goalkeepers, and I look forward to working with them to improve their skills.”

He will be working with Punjab FC’s goalkeepers: Ravi Kumar, Jaskaranbir Singh, Abujam Penand Singh, and Muheet Shabir.

Punjab FC’s Football Director, Nikolaos Topoliatis, welcomed Timsina, stating, “We are excited to have Timsina on board. With his experience, we are confident he will help our goalkeepers excel and contribute to our success this season.”
