
Bagmati Youth Club delivered a powerful performance, defeating Sudurpashchim Province 5-1 in a one-sided match during the ANFA Women’s League 2024. The game, held today, saw Ashmita Khawas shine as she scored the first hat-trick of the tournament.
Ashmita opened the scoring in the 17th minute, giving Bagmati the early lead. Despite facing a few offsides and a heart-stopping moment when her shot hit the post, Ashmita kept her focus. She added two more goals in quick succession, finding the net in the 80th and 82nd minutes to complete her hat-trick.
For Bagmati Sahara Limbu scored in the 26th minute, followed by Aarati Bujel, who struck in the 37th minute, putting Bagmati firmly in control.
Sudurpashchim Province struggled to keep up but managed to score a consolation goal in the 90th minute, courtesy of Tulcha Bohora. However, it was too little, too late, as Bagmati cruised to a comfortable victory.
