Nepal To Play World Cup Qualifiers Matches In Dasarath Stadium


Nepal will play World Cup Qualifiers matches in Dasarath Stadium. Gorkhali will play three games under the second round of WC qualifiers in March and June 2021.

Nepal will host Chinese Taipei on March 25. Similarly, the home team will also play against Australia on 2021 March 30, and Jordan on 2021 June 7. These games were originally scheduled to be held from March to June 2020, but were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In Group B of the Asian Qualifying Tournament, Nepal is grouped with Australia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Chinese Taipei. The closed training held by the Nepalese football team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup has already begun.


After the first round, Australia is leading the group by 12 points. Kuwait and Jordan, who have 10 points in second and third place respectively. After one win with Chinese Taipei, Nepal ranked fourth with 3 points. Chinese Taipei maintains the fifth and last place and has not scored so far.
