Satisale Union won Maghe Sankranti Football competition 2077

Satisale Union Club of Morang district has won the title of Maghe Sankranti Open Knockout Football Tournament.  In the final match held at Belbari, Satisale Union defeated Biratnagar Football Club in sudden death and became the champion.

In the exciting and competitive final match, both the teams drew 2-2 in the regular time. After that, both sides scored the same number of goals in the penalty shootout. In the sudden death, Union won 9-7.

The champion Satisale won 51,000 rupees including the trophy, while runners-up Biratnagar won 31,000 rupees. Similarly, the winner’s medal and trophy were granted by the mayor of Belbari Municipality Gyanendra Subedi, and other guests. Furthermore, Nepal Magar Sangh, Belbari-1, Naxalbari Morang organized a competition with a total of eight teams.
