Nepal’s remaining matches of World Cup Qualifiers 2022 will not be played at Dasartath Stadium in Kathmandu. The remaining matches of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and Asian Cup qualifiers will be played in Kuwait.
The remaining selection games from Group A to H will start on May 31. These matches will be held in eight different countries till June 15. Nepal, which is in Group B, will play the remaining selection games in Kuwait where Nepal will play Chinese Taipei, Jordan and Australia.
Nepal has 3 points in the qualifiers of Group B. Nepal’s only win in the selection came against Chinese Taipei where Nepal defeated them 2-0. Similarly, Nepal lost all the 4 matches against Kuwait(2), Jordan and Australia.
In the first Leg of match against Kuwait Nepal lost 7-0. Similarly, in the second leg played in Bhutan against Kuwait Gorkhali lost with the score of 1-0. Australia and Jordan defeated Nepal 5-0 and 3-0 respectively.
According to AFC Website: Kuwait confirmed as the host for Group B which includes Australia, Jordan, Nepal and Chinese Taipei.
