According to recent statements made by Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) N.C Chairman Haroon Malik, Nepal, Bhutan, and Pakistan could play in a three-nation series during the March FIFA International window. However, despite Pakistan being given the hosting rights, they are currently not in a position to hold the events as there are no available venues in the country at this time.
Recently, in November 2022, Nepal hosted Pakistan for an international friendly match, which Nepal won by a score of 1-0. This match marked Pakistan’s return to international football after a long ban.
Pakistan unable to host the upcoming three-nation series. The question now arises as to who will take on the responsibility. One option could be Nepal, which recently hosted and defeated Pakistan. Nepal can step up and host the series in March FIFA Window.
It remains to be seen if Nepal will take on this opportunity and if the three-nation series will go ahead as planned. Nepali Fans will be eagerly waiting for updates on the situation and hoping for a competitive and exciting tournament.
