Nepal vs Australia, the second leg of World Cup Qualifiers will be played on 30 March 2021. In the first leg match played at Canberra Stadium in the Capital of Australia, Nepal lost the match 5-0.

Nepal and Australia who are in the Group B of Qualifiers will face each other second time. The second leg match will be played at Nepal’s home stadium Dasarath Stadium which is located in the capital, Kathmandu.

Australia are in the top of the table with 12 points. They have played only 4 matches in the qualifiers and are leading the table strongly. Nepal who are in the 4th place of table have only 3 points with one win. Nepal’s only win in the Qualifiers came against Chinese Taipei where they defeated them with a score 2-0.

Now Australia have 4 matches to play in the Qualifiers while Nepal have only 3 remaining. Nepal’s three remaining matches are against Chinese Taipei, Australia, and Jordan. Australia’s remaining matches are against Jordan, Chinese Taipei, Nepal, and Kuwait. Chinese Taipei are already out of the race of World Cup Qualifiers. Similarly, Nepal also has very slim chances of going to the next round of the Qualifiers.
