Nepal’s League Champions Machhindra FC will host Sri Lanka’s league champions Blue Star on April 5 in the single header preliminary Round 1 of AFC Cup 2022. AFC Cup is the second tier club football competition of Asia organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The winners between MNachhindra and Blue Star will visit India’s ISL side ATK Mohun Bagan on April 12 in Round 2 Qualifiers. It is the first participation of Machhindra FC in the official tournament of AFC.
