Army Receives Club License;
After meeting the requirements of the 2020 AFC Club License Regulations, Tribhuvan Army Football Club (TAFC) has obtained the AFC Club License. Tribhuvan Army Football Club will participate in the 2021 AFC Cup, which is the biggest game after the Champions League in Asia. Although the first attempt was rejected, they completed the process and obtained the AFC club license to participate in the AFC Cup.

On November 30, 2020, FIB rejected all 13 “A” clubs’ AFC permit applications. The Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) amended its constitution and transformed into a professional football club in accordance with AFC regulations. After completing all procedures, Tribhuvan Army Football Club became the first club in Nepal to obtain the AFC club license.

Army was the runner-up in the 2076 “A” Divisional League held last year. After losing 1-0 to Machhindra in the last game, Army lost its first chance to become a league champion.
